What to do after TTT when you have no training clients
Build a workshop for a defined buyer problem, show what participants will practise and use buyer conversations to test whether the offer fits a real need.

Separate the gaps you need to work on.
Certification does not tell a buyer which workplace problem you can help with. Check whether your immediate difficulty is designing a workshop, demonstrating your delivery or reaching the people who commission training. A course can address a skill gap; it does not replace the work of finding and speaking with potential buyers.
Choose an audience you understand. Ask about a specific task or situation rather than offering to train everyone in a broad topic. Listen for the current behaviour, the desired behaviour, the people affected and the constraints around time and attendance.
Worked example: make the offer concrete.
Illustrative editorial example, not a participant result, guaranteed sales method or approved course promise.
“I deliver communication training” gives a buyer little to evaluate. A more concrete conversation begins with: “Are new supervisors handing over customer issues without a clear next action? I’m developing a workshop where supervisors practise naming the issue, next action and owner. How does your team currently handle that handover?”
The question tests whether the problem exists. If it does not, listen and reconsider the fit rather than treating every conversation as a sales opportunity.
Prepare evidence you can honestly show.
- Create a short outline with audience, learning outcomes, activities and evaluation.
- Prepare one sample activity with clear participant instructions.
- Practise delivery and ask for specific feedback on clarity, participation and timing.
- Label practice sessions and fictional examples accurately. Obtain permission before using a participant’s quotation or work.
- Follow up on agreed buyer questions with a proposal that states scope, fees and delivery conditions.
Track what buyers ask and where proposals stop progressing. Revise the part the evidence points to: unclear relevance, unsuitable scope or weak proof may each call for a different change.
Choose the next learning step.
For workshop planning and evaluation, start with standalone MWS. For presentation practice, consider Stagecraft. Compare all five standalone courses by the work you need to do.
The separate 12-month Academy adds mentoring on workshop drafts, proposals and client conversations. Its confirmed support includes leads from Day 1, priority for leads and referrals, and Q1 introductions around CNY and Raya. Admission requires HRD Corp TTT certification and an interview. Neither a course nor Academy membership guarantees clients, assignments or income.
Put the next step into practice.
